This was a lot of fun but I think only people who are determined and committed to going a long way should go on this bike ride. Definitely pack a lunch and bring LOTS of water. There are plenty of picnic tables and restrooms along the way. If you do go I hope you would like it as much as we did.
I hope you went on the boardwalk and saw the fort area. The boardwalk is one of my favorite places. You can ride your bikes on it and if you go real early sometimes you see deer and wild turkeys. We had our pictures taken at the fort area on the porch of the building and at the wall where the army used to hide behind. And you don’t have to go all the way every time. You can ride to the railroad station and have lunch there. Look for turtles crossing the roads sometimes. I enjoy reading about all of your activities, I think this will give kids a good of ideas of places to go and things to do.
