We went hiking in Georgia at a place called providence canyon, also known as the little grand canyon. This hike was awesome. You could easily see many different layers of minerals and rocks. The top layer of soil was 59 to 62 million years old. The next layer was 67 to 70 million years old and deposited during the T-rex’s days. We really just liked to walk through the muddy water from the rain yesterday with our walking sticks.
View from up top before we hiked down.mud and walking sticks is a winning combination. This was up at the trailhead and gave an idea of the levels of sand.We took this on the hike and you can clearly see the levels. I liked the purple sand best. It is weird that Simon was so exhausted since Dad carried him most of the way.

Wow! Another place that I didn’t know about. Really interesting about all the layperson of rock!

So cool! I wonder what kinds of rocks you’d be most likely to find there… ðĪðĪŠð
